This application uses your handheld GPS to give you a moving map and navigation information on one screen.

Features Include: Palm EFIS moving map will provide a complete moving map with other critical navigation information all on a single screen. When connected to your handheld GPS it will provide: topographical contours, airport symbols and runway layouts, airport popup information, airport distance and ETE, nearest airport, flight planning, heading, airspace boundaries, altitudes and much more.

Review

Pros: Provides a powerful moving map with flight planning and directional information, communication frequencies, runway layouts, Bluetooth, 320x480 and high-res support, great use of vector maps.
Cons: Requires separate purchase of datasets, elevations can be difficult to distinguish, missing some IFR information such as intersections and approaches.
Notes: Includes flight planning and flight director .

"Moving map works nice. However, the map data is partially incomplete (does not show danger areas, reporting points, and uncontrolled airports at least in some areas, for example europe). If they improve the map data it will be a very nice peace of software, and a good aid for flying. {version 1.7i}"
