Franson GPSGate 2.5 Build 250 (Shareware)

This program allows you the ability to share one GPS to multiple applications on your Pocket PC or Windows PC.

Features Include: This program will let you share one GPS between several applications. GpsGate can create any number of virtual serial ports which most NMEA enabled GPS applications can connect to. The simulator will allow you the ability to define a set of waypoints and GPSGate will simulate a GPS travelling between those waypoints. The logger will log and playback real time GPS data. This allows you the ability to save real time scenarios to be used for analysis, demonstration or training.

Pros: Helps practice simulation on moving-map programs that don't have a built-in simulation feature or when you have multiple GPS programs running on the same device.
Cons: Can only enter simulation altitude in meters, slightly expensive ($$).
Platform: None - Pocket PC and Windows PC have the same features.
Notes: ** Reviewed on a Dell Axim X30 **, demo will last for 14 days. For those who only need to share two applications consider GpsGate Express ($9.95).

"Would fail in flight and require that I enter my registration number... several times. A real hassle. I just gave up on it. Support was poor and slow. {version 2}"
