Jet Log Pro 3.2 (Shareware)

This Palm OS logbook (great for pilots of all levels) provides all the features you need in a single package.

Features Include: Ability to track various information such as simulator time, currency, medical, BFR, IPC, PPE and view total hours. Includes basic filters that can display hours by aircraft type, model, engine, etc. Also has basic graphing feature (directly on PDA). Has a text entry field for adding crew notes. Calculates expenses and has a Per Diem calculator. Also, comes with an application for printing your logbook from your PC. Works for pilots at any level but especially useful for corporate pilots. Plus, has 24 hour lookback for time flown (Part 135). Built-in backup (to memory card) and restore process. Pilots can also use flight number instead of tail registration.

What's New: 3.2 - ability to backup and restore to/from an SD Card.

Review

Pros: Pop-up keypad, built-in graphing, PC based reporting (printing) tool.
Cons: No desktop logbook interface, slightly sluggish built-in reporting and graphing.
Notes: ** Reviewed on a Palm IIIc device **, re-reviewed 14 Jan 2006 (version 2.8b), demo version will allow you to use for 14 days, then you must register. Once you register the developer will send you a PC based reporting tool.

"Am a commercial helicopter pilot and have been using the program for a year. Developer has excellent support and has kept me updated for free. Any suggestions are acted upon. Nice program and inexpensive as well. {version 3.2}"
