ECHO2 is a Palm OS all-in-one checklist, timer, E6-B and conversion program.
Features Include: Ability to view V-speeds and checklist(s) for your given aircraft (you can select type when you purchase) including: Beech, Cessna, Piper and more. Also shows Zulu time and has many of the standard E6-B calculations that you might need. The checklist section is arranged by process (including emergency checklists). Also includes a leg timer/tracker and v-speed/frequency organizer.

Review
Pros: Great checklist (90+ aircraft available), timer, E6-B application to use for most GA aircraft. Timer works even if the handheld is turned off.
Cons: You must purchase one copy for each checklist that you use.
Notes: Use the Frequency section to keep frequencies easily accessible.

| "NOT PALM OS 5 COMPATIBLE!! Tested demo on a 2mb Zire (Palm OS 4). Seems to be a very nice package. Coming from Surecheck, it has the most detailed PDA checklist I have seen yet (from dark and cold all the way to tiedown). E6B is disabled in demo, but has nice large graphics. Complete checklist, V speeds, POH data, etc. for one aircraft type are included in the pay version. If you fly only one plane, and that plane is in the 90+ types they supported in the last version (2005), and have an old OS 4 unit, you are in luck and it's worth $30. {version 2.0}" |
