News: eReader Pro Reader Software Goes Free

Posted by Matthew Justice on Feb 15, 2008

eReader Pro ...

Big news from the eBook publishing world. As a eBook reader for many years I have never upgraded to eReader Pro, instead I used the free version of eReader and other eBook readers. The Pro version of eReader adds dictionaries, autoscrolling and much more. But since Fictionwise has recently acquired eReader the (Pro) reader is now free. So you can download the reader for Palm, Pocket PC, Windows Mobile Smartphone, Symbian, Mac, OQO, and Windows PCs. This way you can view your eBooks on any of these devices.

I did a search for "Aviation" and found 18 eBooks. Some of them are really of interest so I would recommend anyone that is interested in getting one of these books that they consider the eBook version instead.

After installing the software on my Treo 700P, I then downloaded the free trial of the Oxford Dictionary. I am going to see about getting my older eBooks installed.

For those who have considered writing an eBook they also offer software that can be used to help create eBooks on both Windows and Mac computers.
