News: Pilots Draw Airplane Over Several States
Posted by Matthew Justice on Mar 24, 2008Following in the tradition of a Gulfstream who's pilots wrote GV over several states, a Cessna Citation X flew a flight path over 7 states to draw a flight path of an airplane (or Cessna logo).
According to the flight tracking information on FlightAware.com it appears the flight lasted 4 hours and 15 minutes. The flight began and ended at the Wichita Mid-Continent (ICT) airport.
This flight is another one of those non-traditional methods that help promote an airplane. But with gas prices are they are now, we have to ask was this long flight worth the money and environmental impact?
