Press Release: CMC Electronics' Class 2 Electronic Flight Bag Selected by ATR

CMC Electronics' Class 2 PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) has been selected by ATR as a standard option for new aircraft production and for retrofits of in-service ATR-42 and ATR-72 aircraft. The dual installation PilotView EFBs will enable paperless cockpit operations, including aircraft data and procedures manuals and interactive electronic charts.
CMC's PilotView EFB improves productivity by enabling flight preparation with efficient access to up-to-date aircraft documentation, checklists and flight planning information. The PilotView EFB further increases situational awareness in-flight with en-route, approach charts, moving map display and graphical, real time weather information. The PilotView EFB is a compact, lightweight system with a display/processor unit and aircraft interface unit which are to easy to install in a variety of cockpits where space is at a premium.
